Abraham Lincoln to the Rescue

One day, Abraham Lincoln was riding his horse in the woods.

He was with three friends.

They rode under a tree. A bird chirped loudly above them.

Then they saw two baby birds on the ground. The birds had fallen out of their nest.

“Those poor baby birds don’t stand a chance,” said one of the men.

“Without their mother, they won’t live long,” said another.
