The Name Caller

“Oh no, it’s Ryan. He's such a bully,” Devon thought. “He always calls me names. I hate that.” Devon walked to his classroom.

“Hey, stupid head!” said Ryan.

Devon put his head down and kept walking.

Devon did not like being called names. It made him feel sad and angry. Devon felt afraid, too.

He did not know how to make Ryan stop.

Devon went to his class. He sat at his desk. “What’s wrong?” asked his friend Alexa. Devon told her about Ryan.

Alexa said, “Tell that bully how you feel. Tell him it makes you mad. Maybe that will make him stop.”
