The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time there were three little pigs. Their mother kept them very busy with lessons and chores.

One day their mother said, “It is time for each of you to go out into the world. Remember what I have taught you.”

The next day the pigs left. “Wheee!” cried the first pig. “No more chores!”

“We can play all day!” said the other.

The third pig said: “Work comes first. We must build strong houses to keep us safe.”

The first two pigs giggled. “All we need is a simple place to sleep,” they said.

The first built a wobbly house out of straw.

The second built a shaky house with sticks.

“Wheee! We are done. It is time to play!”
