Thor's Magic Hammer

Long ago the giant Loki saw Sif sleeping on her porch. Her beautiful golden hair fell down her back.

The sneaky giant could not resist. He quietly snuck up to Sif and cut off her curls.

Soon Thor came home. His wife, Sif, was crying.

“My hair is gone. Someone stole it,” she wept.

Thor, the god of war and thunder, was angry. “Only Loki would do this!” he said.

Thor soon found Loki.

Loki knew he had gone too far. “I can get her something more beautiful,” he pleaded, “and a gift for you as well.”
