Pizza for President

“What do you mean there’s no pizza?” Vinnie asked.

“Don’t look at me,” said the lunch lady. “You kids voted to change Pizza Fridays to Salad Day.”

Vinnie was mad. He hated salads.

Vinnie went to the vending machine. He wanted to buy a soda.

Instead, he found only water and fruit juice. The soda was gone!

Vinnie’s tummy growled. Just then, the principal walked by.

“What happened to the pizza and soda?” Vinnie asked.

“You students voted to get rid of it,” the principal said. Vinnie sulked back to class.
